OPEN CHURCHES WEEK 2017

All set up for Open Churches Week! The theme this year was "Our Parish and the World".

To fit in with the theme Fiona served a magnificent Malaysian meal.

Ryburgh residents tracked their holidays and work visits on a giant map.

Visitors enjoyed the exhibitions about the overseas origins of the plants in our churchyard, the Ryburgh WW1 servicemen in foreign lands and the recent archaeological finds.

An evening of Travellers' Tales provided an opportunity to share experiences and reflect on how easy it is inadvertently to cause offence through not appreciating cultural differences.
